Springtime is springing at ! Our crew is getting all buttoned up on our project and ready to start the trim package. It’s been a nice productive winter but we are ready for sunshine and warm weather. We look forward to turning this beauty over to some pretty amazing clients for them to enjoy.

Well,… just finished up this one of a kind table I’ve been designing and building for over a year. It’s one of 2 black walnut slabs I got from my good friend Calvin over at the slabs were a bit waffled so they needed some love. I broke them at the crotch and flattened the halves. I added spalted maple spline to widen the river a bit for an opaque ninja black/gold epoxy to help with stability and to look gorgeous. Custom fabricated legs from Bauer fab, matched spalted maple timber pegs, spalted maple and double inlayed bow ties. And character for days and days and days!! The result is a gorgeous 4 person table that is available to the right home. It’s out of the shop and in my office if someone is looking for stunning piece of furniture. Hit me up if interested!

We love being in the shop and picking some old rough sawn boards bought as a “package deal” and finding that most of the hundreds of board feet are exotics! Running a filthy gray slab and finding the figured beauty beneath is always fun….. especially when we decide to use it for my bedroom trim!!! …. Wait till you see what’s to come!😉

Great shop weekend putting together 4 red birch shaker doors, all sanded and squared. Ready for jambs and the paint shop! Next up is pouring epoxy for theses two walnut slab tables that have been waiting for the magic! Thanks as always to for the finest materials, milling and advice. Yes… the birch, butternut and walnut are all from Calvin and he’s got something special for me in clamps right now!!
