We’ve a nice false spring in Colorado this week, which means I’ve been spending extra time outside enjoying the warmth and working on more furniture! This piece was another commission, this time for our sweet friend’s daughters’ room! This was the first time I’ve worked on a commission and my client has said “surprise me!” and it was so fun to work within her vision to give this 100+ year old dresser a classic, whimsical flare. The wallpaper drawers were such a fun addition- I don’t do them enough and now I want to wallpaper every dresser drawer in my home (which is like, a lot of dresser drawers- I’m a bit of a dresser hoarder 🙈😆). It’s been a minute, but the holiday bustle finally settled and the weather in Colorado thawed out a bit, so I got back to work! This piece was a commission for a friend, which is always my favorite project to do! She wanted green and a little vintage to match with her gorgeous guest room motif, and it was so fun bringing that vision to life! 🤍

This Harry Potter inspired bookshelf was such a fun custom commission, and my first giveaway prize! I’m so grateful to be a part of .coloradosprings community and was excited to sponsor a walk! When I was brainstorming the best giveaway prize, I thought a customized bookshelf would be the perfect addition to any nursery or playroom! My client had an incredible vision for a Harry Potter inspired piece because her love for reading was sparked by the series, and I love that her son will now have a piece of something his mom loves to hold his books and treasures. ✨ As always, swipe ➡️ for a look at where we started!

This tall boy dresser is a bit of a different style than I usually gravitate towards (I love low boy dressers- aka dressers that are longer than they are tall). But this commission from a loyal client helped me branch out and I’m loving the results! The details of this solid wood piece were breathed back to life with a new coat of paint and some updated hardware, and now I’m off to incorporate this gorgeous grey into more pieces! 🖤 Swipe ➡️ for a look at where we started!

I’m baaaccckkk! This set of dressers came to me in July, and I’ve been so busy raising a small human, working my other jobs, finishing commissioned pieces, and generally living this sweet life that they’re just now finished! This set also came with a large mirror that I tried moving by myself with Birkenstocks on, and promptly dropped and broke the mirror and my big toe (swipe all the way for a little jump scare of my poor digit) 🤪 I am having so much fun exploring all of the shades of moody green out there, and the details on this piece give it a really unique character! The hardware is original, and I am a firm believer in the power of Barkeeper’s Friend and a sturdy toothbrush to bring even the most tarnished metals back to life. Besides my first work related injury, this set was one of my favorites to patiently chip away at, and it’s still looking for a new home!
