Keeping the shirt press busy tonight so you can keep your drinks cold this weekend! The Monticello Iowa Volunteer Fire Department is having their street dance Saturday night. They will be selling these there for $5 a piece to keep your hands warm and drinks cold! It's going to be a beautiful night with some great music, come down and have some fun and support our local fire department!

Now to share my favorite tradition! I always enjoyed going to the fireman's breakfast before going to the parade on the 4th! Now I get to cook the best eggs you can find on the 4th in Monticello at the same breakfast. A close second would be picking on all the nerds that make the pancakes. 🤣

I will be drawing 2 winners on the 3rd to win a cup and a trucker hat to keep you cool and shaded for all of your activities on the 4th!
