The brick website http://my.brixbase.biz/coastguard6535/ has been re-opened. If you are interested or know people interested in purchasing a brick, it's the same as before, $50 for a 4X8 and $125 for an 8X8 brick. The new deadline for brick orders is 3Sep2013. As before, thank you for your support in making an outstanding permanent memorial.

On the night of February 28, 2012 Coast Guard helicopter, designation 6535, went down southwest of Point Clear in Mobile Bay, Alabama while conducting training operations.The following men lost their lives:

A monument was dedicated today to the four Coast Guardsmen who died in a helicopter crash on February 28th, 2012.

A memorial dedication to the crew of 6535 is underway at the U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Training Center in Mobile. The dedication is in memory of LCDR Dale T.Taylor, LTJG Thomas J. Cameron, ASTC Fernando Jorge and AET3 Andrew Drew W. Knight.

On March 1, 2013, a memorial ceremony was held to honor those who perished aboard CG 6535 on February 28, 2012.
