I like this interview. I have been reading about white drum majors as leaders for HBCU Bands. If you work hard, try out and receive a spot after being judged by your peers and the Director of Bands, your selection was earned. What does everyone else say? I believe Dr. King did what he did so everyone would be equal in all standings regardless of race and/or color!
