Our second meeting of the year is fast approaching and will be held this Wednesday, February 9th from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM Central Time.

This month’s lecture will be presented by Henry Slack. Henry has been involved with ASHRAE since 1988. From 1991 to 2018, he managed the Indoor Air Program for the EPA Region 4, covering eight states in the Southeast. In this position, he offered expertise on subjects including mold, odors, ozone, carbon monoxide, air cleaners, ventilation systems, and secondhand to***co smoke. Last year, you may recall that we heard from Henry in his lecture entitled “Mold, COVID, and The Future”. This year, Henry’s “Fixing the Great Indoors” will dig a little deeper into what to do when the air is the right temperature, but it has an odor.

We look forward to seeing you all virtually!

Message us if you are a teacher and would like to hold a STEM activity this year hosted by ASHRAE! (Or know a teacher that would like to host us.) We are going to visit several schools to talk about STEM and do some fun science related activities for the students to participate in. K-12, or College!
