Mobile County Wildlife and Conservation Association MCWCA is a non-profit organization involved in the conservation, restoration and enhancement of natur

Our Goals:

1) Promote sporting conservation of the wildlife and wildlife habitat in Mobile and surrounding areas.

2) Improve and protect the ecosystems in the Mobile/Tensaw Delta and the Mobile Bay.

3) Continue to encourage and promote conservation eductaion to our youth.

4) Monitor current hunting, fishing, and environmental issues pending at the local and state levels.

Saturday August 24, 11am-4 pm Mobile County Wildlife and Conservation Association is Hosting a celebration honoring the Mobile Bay Oyster Industry.

Panel discussion with Q & A, 12:30-2pm. Topic: Successes within the Mobile Bay Oyster Industry.

Panelist include; Tim Gothard (Alabama Wildlife Federation), Scott Bannon (Alabama Marine Resources),Chris Nelson (Bon Secour Fisheries), Barry Ankerson (Double D Oysters) and Chuck Wilsom (Navy Cove Oysters).

Oyster Sampling; 2-4 Includes shucked oysters from Double D Oysters, Navy Cove Oysters and Point aux Pins Oysters and fried oysters compliments of Velvet Pig, open bar and live music.

Tickets (which include 1 years membership to MCWCA), $100 per couple and $75 per individual.

Sponsorships for $250 include access for 4 to the event and special brunch at 11am.
