Other Day Or So Art Studio Progress Update Walk Through Video 13. My winter studio is finally up and working, but now it is a can of worms
The jewelry box was converted into a soft pastel storage and workstation in my home. So I can turn off the heat in my studio for winter energy savings. This separation from my main working area created the perfect time to downsize and makeover my studio to provide an opportunity and a place to teach. So here we go. I plan to rearrange and reduce my stuff during the cold months so I can still turn the heat off. I will get out my paintbrush. I will paint walls and furniture in late March and finish all the final touches by June to make way for an open studio event. So I hope. If you are wondering about the mixed-media deer painting and white dresser from past videos, I had to set them aside. I picked up a couple of commissions but am not filming to protect the client's privacy. I will pick it back up when my can of worms is all cleaned up. Thanks for your patience.

The now-available repainted desk with hutch and chairs are painted in General Finishes Black Polly, a tough cabinet-grade paint. The chairs are found and paired with the piece. The extra one makes for a good corner guest chair or plant stand. The seat is a woven rope painted grey and then washed with a black seal coat to match the wood grain in the back of the shelves for added interest. I accept cash, Venmo, and card.
