It all started with a couple tables for our daughter's wedding...
Tasha asked if we could build a bridal and dessert table out of barn wood, instead of renting them. I looked online and found an ad for wood from an old barn that fell down. We met the owner, who was a really nice guy named Ed. Tasha, Ed, and I pulled the first few boards off the barn roof and we headed back home to build the tables

. Tasha and I worked through the night and by next morning, we had our tables. Then we built a trellis and signs and maybe just a few other things. They were fun to build and served their purpose on the wedding day. The tables also received some positive attention, and sparked the first request to build a custom table for one of our friends. That sent us down the road of reclaiming wood, and building personalized, custom furniture and decor...happily ever after.
