Working on some punch list items today at the first project I worked on in Milwaukee. Super cool to be able to get some good photos of finished product after the homeowners moved in. This was a full gut of a 5 bedroom house sitting right on Lake Michigan.

New batch of my “bigger small” size boards and a few others from the last batch I didn’t get to sanding. The boards are made out of Jatoba, Walnut & Maple and will be “water popped” in between each grit of sanding from 60-220. Water popping allows for the grain of the wood to rise and gives the ability to get a finer finish sand so your cutting board doesn’t get all hairy after a wash.
