Ultimately we aim to offer the quality care your child deserves. Merry Merry Play School is a Chinese preschool and daycare. We also encourage non-Chinese students an opportunity to learn Chinese. We provide quality care for young children between the ages 1.5 to 6 years old while their parents are at work. Each child is provided with materials and activities which meet his/her developmental needs
. The furniture and other equipment are designed to help children gain independence in motor skills and self-help skills. In addition, we offer Chinese-taught math, science, art and language classes for school-aged kids and up. These classes are designed to be engaging and fun and are tailored for different age brackets. We as the Provider has the responsibility in ensuring the children are safe, assisting them when they need help, providing appropriate toys and activities, maintaining a flexible curriculum, introducing predictable routine to each day, providing them with gentle, positive discipline, facilitate learning of new skills and concepts, and most importantly, giving them loving and nurturing care. In addition to learning the ABC’s and 123′s, we teach values as well. The value of being honest, respectful, self-reliant, self-disciplined and the value of giving love, kindness, and friendliness. Proper discipline environment
It is important that we share a similar philosophy in discipline with your child and set what the boundaries are and what is expected from him/her. Children will be taught which behaviors will change without making them feel “bad” or unloved and also helps develop their self-esteem. We state our expectations and teach your child how to meet them by giving choices. under extreme circumstances, a child may be given a seat for “time out”, because at times he/she would need a couple of minutes to calm down and think through their choices and make decisions. We would like you to cooperate and exchange pertinent information about the child’s life such as changes in routine, special events, activities, and family conditions (visitors, separations…etc.), so we can understand your child’s feelings, behavior, and well-being.
