Homeowners had a general idea of bed sizes and layout, but gave creative license to "make it work". That kind of freedom makes it the most enjoyable type of project. Each bed has a reading lamp and niche with outlet and USB port for storing and charging electronics, and plenty of storage space in the open cubbies underneath.
