Sometimes you just need a pop of blue!🙃

This dresser was definitely a piece of work. And a lot of trial and error. Found on the side of the road in our neighborhood and brought home with us, turned out both of the bottom drawers slides were broken. After multiple failed attempts of fixing it, my boyfriend suggested taking them completely out and transforming the area into a shelf. Where people could put their gaming systems or dvd players. With this change the dresser came to life and got a glamorous face lift with navy paint and rustic new k***s.

Slide to see the before of this amazing table.

This beauty is the center piece of our dining room and was giving to us from a family friend. Took a lot of sanding to get the top layers of stain off the table with a bit of help from my mom the job got done.

Definitely prefer the lighter tone. And in love with the pop of color we adding to the bottom to brighter the space!

Fun quick project from this week, behind the couch table. We’ve been wanting this for a while with the size of the couch depending on where you sit there’s no where to put your drinks.
Now there’s lots of room! And an added bonus, multiple plug ins and USB ports for charging.

Bedside table
Another beautiful build this week!

This piece was built for our bedroom using plans and was made to match the bed I posted previously. With goals to build a dresser to match in the future!

The side table is large and has lots of room to store in the one drawer. To keep the theme started with the bed frame in the previous post I stained it with a white wash.

Like the bed frame from the previous post, the side table was built with my dad. This was the first project where I had to create a drawer and put together drawer slides. I have fond memories of figuring out how to assemble this more technical and precise build. Those memories excite me to keep challenging myself more in the future.

This piece was built for our bedroom using plans.

The bed is queen sizes and stained a white wash.

This bed was one of my first furniture builds, and the first time I learned how to use the white wash technique. I built this with my dad so, it has quite the special meaning to me. It was a generally easy build, but during that quality I got to learn a lot of the techniques my dad that I still use today!
Though it was a simple build it has held up through many moves being disassembled and reassembled, and has always felt to be a great fit for each bedroom iteration.

Look at this beautiful piece. Swipe to see the transformation. (Excuse the blurry picture was the only before picture I had from when my mom sent it)

This piece was done for my little girls nursery room. Her room is filled with purples and pinks along with many flowers. Which were the inspiration for this piece.

The dresser is dusty lilac

The k***s are a white flower that are from hobby lobby and are the same I used on our living room tv stand project.

This piece was given to us from a friend of my moms for free while they were moving. This piece has been an amazing addition to her from and is a great help keeping all her clothes organized.
