You can literally drive for miles and not see a blade of grass, at some point there was enough fuel to burn things for miles down this draw. I don’t know how long ago this tree burned, I don’t how old it was before, I don’t know how long it was dead before it grew again.

I do know that it touches something of redemption and grace in me.
