Meta is continuing to expand advertising opportunities and as of May 2025, Threads is now testing video ads with select advertisers. Brands can now place 16:9 and 1:1 video creatives directly within the Threads feed, alongside image ads designed to blend seamlessly into the user experience.
This means businesses already running campaigns through Meta Ads Manager may soon have another powerful placement opportunity to extend reach, visibility, and engagement.
