Tulips are IN!!🌷

We know we've been a little quiet on social media for a few months now, but don't worry, we are still growing plenty of beautiful flowers this year!!💐

We've recently lost access to our business page and cannot get it back, so if anyone has tried reaching out to us through messenger over there we apologize immensely! This is now our new page and we would love for you to like, follow, and invite your friends, so you can stay up to date on flower availability!!💚

Another important update: we weren't only growing flowers last summer and fall. In February, we welcomed our 5th baby into our family!👶 So we've been super busy these last few months with kids and flowers!!

As a furniture artist one of the highest honors you can acheive is to be selected by Zibra Paint in their International Golden Brush Awards. It is like the Grammy’s of painting. Each year they narrow down thousands of furniture artists from all over the world into a few categories and nominate them as finalists into each category.

This year I am honored, humbled and was brought to tears (basically all day today) to find out I was a finalist in the “Artistic Close Up” category. They turned the voting over to the public to choose the winner in each category.

I think this particular color green is my favorite color if I had to choose one. It’s naturally occurring in nature, not too masculine, not too feminine, it’s timeless, it’s not style specific…It’s just a great color in my humble opinion.

This Eastlake style dresser likely dates back to the late 1800s-early 1900s and is so unique in its design, and has stood the test of time. I’d also like to take a moment to just admire the craftsmanship of these stunning Knapp joints and the fact all of the locks are present and fully functional (I have never ever had a piece like that).

Painted in Collard Greens by Dixie Belle Paint Company, distressed finish & sealed in Gatorhide for durability, new hardware, all wood has been rehydrated inside and out with Big Mama’s Butta orange furniture salve, lubricated drawer slides, original porcelain casters (fully functional), lined drawers, measures 40w x 18d x 45h, free local delivery within 30 miles or can be picked up in Metamora, IL. The award for hardest color to photograph goes to…..this guy.

This is a 3:1 mix of Typewriter black to boxwood green. It comes across as black but has a deep green undertone in some lighting. H**p oil seal. Lots of fun movement in the paint giving it a worn and weathered look.
