John just finished a rustic chest out of reclaimed wood from the family farm for his Uncle Javis & Aunt Sue... the frame was made from reclaimed rafters from the old house John, Grandma & Uncle Javis tore down. The 1" is the wood Grandpa & Uncle Javis sawed many years ago. It's neat to see the wood from that house live on into something else.

Thanks everybody for all the positive feedback, I really appreciate it. It's nice to be able to use my passion as a fill in between excavating. We have a couple of items forsale down at Salon 1223 in Merrill. A cherry corner stand, rustic bench, rustic barn wood mirror, & a 3 piece coffee & end table set.
