With the price of wood right now I’ll be taking a break from wood working. The price has quadrupled in a month and I don’t like charging more than what should be for a job. I’ve quoted a ton of jobs and I’m sorry to say but it’s changing daily so until a deposit is paid on those I’ll give an exact price.

This same 2x4x8 was $2.46 a month a go

It’s been another busy 2 days here at the shop. Waiting on lettering and bags for blue corn hole set, built 3 blanket ladder racks, burned another set of corn hole boards, make a card holder for hallmark cards from family and friends, built a nice set of dog steps, and to top is off with a 6ft treated picnic table stained. The wait is over for the finished product of the Desk project. I can not thank Bekah Respess enough for trusting me to build this. She gave me a size and she said I nailed it. What do y’all think?

It’s hard to tell but all boards are turned on a 45 degree and the top is white washed. Wow I love this piece.

How about some Wednesday wood work

A great customer has trusted me to design her desk. She gave me a size and full control. Man I hope she likes it as much as I do right now. Can’t wait to stain it and see it in use. I decided to run the boards on a 45 instead of the standard straight look.
