In 2023, we created a partnership with Love One International. Love One International provides life-saving medical care to critically ill children in Uganda.

This year marked a significant milestone for Love One as they opened a new center, allowing them to triple the number of children they serve!

In addition to opening a new facility, Love One rehabilitated 196 children at the center and 1,782 children through its home-based care program.

Today, they also just launched the Love Club, an exclusive community of reoccurring donors dedicated to making a lasting impact in Uganda. November is National Adoption Awareness month.

There are 368,530 children are in foster care and 108,877 children waiting to be adopted.

Families like the Greens are stepping up to give children a forever home, but the barriers to adoption can make it overwhelming. That’s why DSG is proud to support For Others — whose mission is to end the Child Welfare Crisis in America by working with organizations to provide support and resources to vulnerable families.

Through our Purchase with Purpose program in our DSG retail locations, we proudly donated to make a difference by providing brand new complete bedroom suites for all the children. The Green Family shared:

"Finding a village to surround us has made it much easier and more manageable. We were blessed to have DSG/Ashley assist us in making our children feel special by providing them with their bedroom furniture. Thank you, Ashley, for your generosity."

We are more than the largest licensee of Ashley stores at Dufresne Spencer Group (DSG) and in our Ashley stores. Since 2022, on behalf of our guests, we have donated over $3 million to our partners, who are dedicated to improving the lives of children locally and globally through our hashtag initiative.

Every purchase made at one of 131 Ashley locations helps support vital causes, such as addressing the foster care crisis in the U.S. with For Others Collective, providing beds to those in need through Hope to Dream, and delivering sustainable healthcare services in Central America and Africa with Love One International and OneWorld Health.

At DSG, we don't just contribute financially to our initiatives. We actively participate, collaborate on the frontlines, and volunteer. This hands-on approach allows us to create lasting change for those who most need it.
