I am a mom to five children, and I have always dreamed of having a home for my family where the atmosphere inside really felt like a place of healing, refuge, harmony, and creativity. Over the years I have developed my skill as an artist and in refinishing vintage furniture pieces, often hand-me-downs in rough condition, so I decided to marry both of these talen

ts to plan small business ownership which would allow me to be present and active with my younger children while earning an income to finally lift my family into financial freedom by using my talents. Because my products are restored existing pieces that have gone unused, this allows me to offer an earth-conscious alternative to the wholesale furniture giants by keeping furniture (with incredible decorating potential) out of the landfills. And because my pieces are vintage or antique, they have that old-time, built-to-last craftsmanship that is almost non-existent in mass-produced furniture manufacturing. I also offer a service to refinish and update items you already have, as a new way to re-invent the look of your space. If you follow my page, you will occasionally see free tutorial videos to help teach you how to do this yourself. My design style may not be for everyone. I curate earthy textures such as lovely wood grain that shows through my translucent matte finishes. I like accents that blend character and variation using soothing neutral tones that bring the tranquil essence of nature into a space. I will incorporate elements like stone, rattan, and cane-webbing to my pieces, and I am a huge fan of the sun-bleached, coastal and beach-washed interior design looks.
