It’s a beautiful rainy Sunday morning. Perfectly suited for calming my spirit and talking with God. This morning, I have the extra bonus of sharing it with my grandson. Enjoy your Sunday!

Good morning! Today I'm focusing on the best ways of prepping and streamlining the shipping process. I'm extremely good at packing and preparing products for postal travel. It's my favorite part because I envision how excited my customers feel when it arrives and they open it up. However, determining shipping costs is a bit more involved as I will be shipping all shapes, weights, and sizes, so I will be putting extra effort in determining the least expensive and safest method of shipping for each individual package. If my items were the same weight, shape, and size, it would be much easier. To tackle this, I will have as much done on the backside before I even post an item for sale. It partially has to be done anyway to determine accurate shipping costs. But by having the box and materials on hand in an organized manner, I'm alleviating the need to make a mad dash to the store upon the point of sale. The drawback is that I will need to purchase and store the shipping materials in a safe manner until they are ready to use. Now.. how to store the extra shipping material in a small space, hmmm... let's see ...

Thanks for reading and going on this journey with me. If you have shipping suggestions for me, please comment here.

This is where I’ll be doing all of my creating for my page. Purchased from the sweetest lady, it’s relaxing and comfortable and a perfect fit. It was her father’s desk. Thank you for hanging in there with me as I get a handle on where I want to take this page and begin to list.

The children’s chairs featured in my cover photo came from the kindergarten class at Heights Christian Church which began in 1927. My grandmother taught this class until her passing in the 1980s. They honored her by naming the kindergarten room after her. An untold number of children, including my siblings and me, sat in these chairs and painted with temper paint. Upon the church selling the building in 2023, these chairs were discovered in a closet. I will never repaint them as long as they are mine.
