One of my favorite builds this year. Custom hardwood Dining Table with removable leaves revealing an inset felt topped gaming area. Built in cup holders along the upper ring of the table when the leaves are removed. Custom sized drawers on each side of the table for dice or player sheets.

Taking a break from the reclaimed maple table project for a custom bookshelf/cube storage for one of my favorite clients.

I love when I get to build something that a client has dreamed up. Taking their idea and making it a reality.

What kind of legs or pedestal should we go with? Let me know what you think…

It’s not everyday you get a little piece of community history in your shop. Over 3 1/2 years ago category 5, Hurricane Michael devastated our area. Everitt Middle School stood serving our town for decades before it was closed due to extensive damage from the storm.
Shortly before that fateful day, Everitt Middle School remodeled the gym replacing the original floors. These panels are from that original gym floor! These are the floor generations of students competed, ran, played, and jumped on over many years before being replaced.
Instead of tossing them out, I get the chance to turn them into something new. I’m creating beautiful hardwood tables out of these panels…upcylcing them into pieces families can enjoy for many more generations to come.

I have enough wood to make about 3-5 tables and I’m making them available to the public. DM me for any questions and/or for info on how to purchase one.

Did you go to EMS? Tag your friends and tell us your Middle School stories

When I received the order for these two toy boxes I was immediately excited. When I was a kid, my dad built a toy box for my brother and me. Our toy box held worlds of imagination and became part of that world as we played. I remembered the many times we sat on the box, jumped off the top, open & shut the door (one time on my brothers head 😂) So I built these boxes to last! One day these boxes won’t hold toys; they’ll hold keepsakes and blankets. Most importantly, they’ll last long enough to hold many years of memories

When I first started my business, I was feeling nervous. I was desperate to wait until everything was perfect, so I put out feelers to see if anyone would bite. I tried building a few small things for free to see if I could really do it. I second guessed and questioned myself over and over again. But you know what? All of these things were just distractions from me fulfilling my passions: building beautiful things and serving people! I’m so happy that I stopped wasting time and just DID it. Now I can serve families, like the one who ordered this breakfast nook set, with my work. This family will have a place to spend quality time together before tackling the day. Thinking of the conversations, memories, and homework assignments that will be held around this table makes me glad I took the plunge and started this business before I was “ready.” Can you think of a time you didn’t feel ready but did it anyway?
