"A triumphal retrospective at the Berkeley Art Museum confirms her standing as one of the great American artists — transcending craft, challenging painting and reshaping the canon."

Tomorrow is and my one year anniversary. Instead of a guest book we had our friends and family sign a piece of linen fabric. This past year I’ve been embroidering everyone’s messages and finished the last square yesterday. Next up I’ll sew the squares together to make our Wedding Quilt. It’s been nice to read the messages as I sew, and I’ve especially loved creating a tactile keepsake we’ll always have of all these people we love with their unique handwriting as part of it. I love that. Hope you enjoy the stop motion mini movie I made of this project this far! 💜

One of my calming quarantine activities has been embroidering our wedding quilt squares. It’s especially nice reading the loving words our friends and family wrote. Doesn’t hurt to throw into the mix drinking beers out of my sweet kuzie while watching 👌🏻(for the 2nd time)
