Excited to see a project we worked on for legendary Clay Lacy Aviation released online this week. This promo video was shot on RED Cameras at Van Nuys airport and will be used for ongoing public events, trade shows, and social media.

Matt Danciger lead the production team and was DP/Camera Op, while I was 1st AC / RED Tech and also did some shooting. Thanks also to Robert Dyck, who was our Gaffer, helped shoot, among wearing many other hats, and Brandon Storer, who also helped with grip and lighting.

Had a fun day with Ben Betts and a few others helping shoot scenes for an Indie sci-fi film this morning. Robert Dyck did a great job as DP/Camera Op as did Matt MacLean as 1st AC. RedCam Central provided our EPIC Dragon camera.

Had fun shooting some behind the scenes footage and plates today. During prep, I found this convenient way to have a nice compact setup. What's great is that the EVF and EVF mount can be removed quickly and the sideways mounting of the Top Handle both saves space, and provides a perfect offset area for the Sennheiser mic. Having this setup quickly able to lock down onto a Tripod with the RED Quick Release Plate was such a time saver. Also, with the new Adaptive fan mode, the camera is virtually silent. Well done, RED.
