This one is quite special to me. Created from slabs that a customer declined, this beauty is going in my own house. Like a cobbler with no shoes, I’ve never made a dining table for myself. I love the color variations, curling and wild edges on this table. I can’t wait to host friends and family at this table.

This is the moment every piece of wood has been waiting for. Dry walnut looks almost gray, but the second oil hits it, the actual color finally shows up. Still gets me every time.

Delivered this week to a home on Lake Winnipesaukee, this custom black walnut farmhouse table was made to feel right at home in its surroundings.

Breadboard ends and custom double crescent trestle legs give the table a timeless silhouette, while the natural character of the walnut makes it completely one of a kind.

I didn't get into this to build furniture. I got into it to build the thing everyone ends up standing around at 11pm on a holiday, still talking. The table's just the excuse.
