Some co****le boards I recently finished for the church where I serve The Chapel. Big thanks to my dude Ginger Woodworks for hooking me up with laser cut templates for the church's logo. Check Rob out for his laser cut goods - he's really ramping things up and making awesome stuff. I have a few more sets to make for the other campuses, but I'm excited about how these turned out.

CO****LE BOARD ORDERS ARE OPEN!

Hi friends, with it FINALLY looking like we’re past the ick of snowy weather here in WNY (I know, don’t jinx it), it’s time to start thinking about getting outside with friends and family. With that said, I am officially opening up orders for co****le sets. My sets are made with pine frames and 3/4” birch plywood tops. These aren’t the ones you get from Walmart.

Prices:

Raw Set (no designs, just plain boards with clear coat): $175

Finished Set (simple design determined by me for repeatability with stain): $200

Custom Set: $250+ (will depend on complexity and cost of materials like paint, stencils, lights, etc.)

These prices are for the BOARDS ONLY.

So unbelievably grateful to Kingdom Bound for blessing us with an amazing experience this year. The kids got to be down by the stage for the concerts, which was a lot of fun. Levi rated the trip a 10/10. Also, don’t forget to get your Be Kind Always gear at the link I posted from 26 Shirts a few days ago, as the pre-order will close in the next couple days!

Oh hey, yeah I’m still here. Here’s a proof of life post.

Several months ago, I made these floating shelves out of white oak for my sister and bro-in-law . We’re at their house for a housewarming party today, so I thought I’d finally get some glamour shots. Are you like me and CONSTANTLY mix up your parts when you cut them? I have to make myself notes or I will put things on backwards 100% of the time. Actually, there’s still a chance of it happening, but this reduces those chances by like 67%. So that’s a win. What kind of things do you do in the shop to overcome mental shortfalls?

My goes out to my new Deros that I won from not too long ago. It’s first job? Getting my table saw cast iron cleaned up. Removed surface rust and stains by going 60grit all the way up to 400, wiped it down with some , and then hit it with some paste wax. Old girl is looking fresh and clean!
