It’s been a long while since I’ve posted last. It was long overdue but it’s finished now. I forgot to take great pictures of this solid white oak hexagonal poker table, with a built in shadow box.

Top half finished!!! I made a lot of saw dust and wood shaving milling this white oak. The bottom half will be done soon!!!

Started the drawers for the chess board. I was cruising along and then BAM! My router decided to takes its own route and now I get to fix it. Then I try to be super smooth and quickly run the drawer dividers through the drum sander only to have one piece get stuck under another piece. Now I have a nice wedge. So of course I hade to make two more pieces.

Dropped off this walnut cross to its new owner. They fell in love with it at first sight!

Getting back to work and it feels so good!!! Working on a 16” walnut cross and a chessboard that will eventually have sides and drawers to house the pieces.
