What happens when you design an entire birthday around who SHE is? 🥹🎨🖤

Her creativity became the inspiration, with her own artwork displayed throughout the party to bring her 2D sketch theme to life. ✨

Every party starts with the guest of honor. 🥹 We take their favorite things, favorite colors, interests and personality and turn them into an experience designed specifically for THEM. ✨

Because the best parties don’t just follow a theme. They celebrate who they are. 🤍

Of course, an artist needs an ART station. 🎨

The girls designed their own sketchbook covers inspired by the birthday girl herself.

Each guest created something uniquely their own. 🖤🎨

The activity became the party favor with these personalized sketchbooks keepsakes.

📸 Then it was time for the PHOTO BOOTH!

Complete with hand painted 2D sketched props made just for her theme. 🖤

Pose, laugh, repeat. 🥰

Unlimited photos meant they could capture and print as many memories together as they wanted. And the sweetest little keepsake addition… 🥹 a photo keychain so they could carry a memory from the night with them. 🖤✨

And for the birthday girl… A keepsake photo album to keep all those Photo Booth memories from her 13th forever.

A beautiful towel wall display for the girls to grab and personalize before heading to their pool after party! 🖤🤍💦

They designed their own totes with favorite quotes.

Personalized their own pool towels with letter patches and favorite Snoopy details.

They got to relax, laugh and enjoy the party while we professionally heat pressed their custom tote and towel designs. 🖤✨

We made sure to include all her favorites like Olive Garden buffet and Shirley Temples.

Cookies and Cream Cake Pops and all her favorite candies at the candy bar.

And her favorite ice cream cake of course! 🎂 🍦

And no birthday is ever complete without ending the night in sleepover tents with her besties. 🥹🖤 It’s become her favorite birthday tradition. ⛺️✨

Something shifts when they enter their teenage era…

Birthdays become less about just having a party and more about celebrating who they’re becoming. 🥹

For her 13th birthday, she asked for a 2D sketch theme with Snoopy accents, so we designed an entire evening around everything she loves.

She’s an artist, so her creativity became the heart of the party. 🎨 We showcased her artwork throughout the space and created a 2D inspired design that felt like stepping right into one of her sketches, with little touches of Snoopy throughout. 🖤🤍

The main creative experience was designing their own sketchbooks, because what better activity for a birthday girl who is always creating? Her friends also personalized towels and tote bags with letter patches, favorite quotes, and Snoopy details to make each one their own.

And then, all of HER favorites. 🥰

A Shirley Temple bar.
Olive Garden for dinner.
A candy bar filled with her favorites.
Cookies & cream cake pops.
A beautiful balloon towel wall.
A backdrop showcasing her artwork and 13th birthday milestone photos.
And a photo album to hold onto all the Photo Booth memories from this special night forever. 🥹

THEN we headed outside for the after party with swimming, ice cream cake, and presents. 🎂💦

And when that ended? The night still wasn’t over.

A few of her besties stayed for a black and white Snoopy sleepover in their own tents. 🖤🤍

This is what I love most about creating custom parties.

It’s no longer just about choosing a party package. It’s about taking everything they love and turning it into an experience that feels completely them.

And this one could only belong to my sweet Ava girl. 🥹🖤

Today my sweet Ava girl is officially a teenager. 🥹🖤

And if you’ve ever wondered how It’s Sew My Party began… it all started with her.

For her 8th birthday, she asked for a little sleepover tent party at home. So of course, I made it happen for her, sewing all the pillow beds and tent covers. At the time, I had no idea that one special night would turn into something so much bigger.

Soon, other moms began asking me to create that same magic for their children. What started with one little tent party grew into It’s Sew My Party and so much more than I ever imagined. 🙌🏼

Behind It’s Sew My Party, I’m simply a mom who has always wanted to make her daughter feel extra special on her birthday. 🥰 And that feeling is exactly what I hope to create for every child we celebrate. I want them to feel seen, celebrated, and like their special day was truly made just for them.

She is the inspiration behind all of this. She is my why.

And now, five years later, the little girl who inspired this entire journey is 13 and of course there will be another unique party designed just for her. 🥹

She chose the theme herself… and it’s SO her. 🖤

I can’t wait to bring her vision to life.

Before there was It’s Sew My Party, there was just my little girl with a big imagination. 🤍

And somehow, in just a couple of weeks, that little girl will be 13.

She is the reason It’s Sew My Party exists.

It all started with wanting to create something special for her. Something more than just a party. I wanted to give her an experience she would remember, and along the way, I rediscovered my own love for sewing, designing, creating and bringing ideas to life.

That little spark became It’s Sew My Party.

Today, I get to create beautiful sleepover experiences and hands on workshops for other children, but at the heart of everything I do is still the same thing…

Giving kids a place to feel extravagantly loved and appreciated.

My daughter will always be my first inspiration, my biggest why, and the little artist who unknowingly started this entire journey.

And as I look at this photo and realize she’s about to be 13, I can’t help but feel incredibly grateful for the little girl who started it all. 🥹🤍

She is my why.
She always will be.

I can’t wait to show you the party theme she chose for herself and how we bring her vision to life. 🖤✨

This year has been one of the biggest seasons of growth for It’s Sew My Party. 🥹🙌🏼🥳

What started as luxury sleepover tent parties has grown into so much more.

This year is flying by already… we’ve launched creative workshops that let kids design, create, and celebrate in a whole new way. From denim jacket patch parties to lipgloss charm bars, Build-A-Plush workshops, slime making, cake decorating, tea party workshops, fake cake jewelry boxes, and so many more, it’s been incredible watching these new experiences come to life.

Every workshop was created with the same goal we’ve always had: to give kids a celebration they’ll remember long after the party is over.

Looking back, I’m so grateful for everything we’ve accomplished this year. The late nights, planning, testing, creating, and dreaming have all been worth it. 💞

And the best part? We’re just getting started!!! We’ve been working hard behind the scenes on launching a new website, new party packages and more experiences coming soon!

Thank you to every family who has trusted us to be part of your celebrations. Your support has allowed us to continue growing, creating, and bringing new experiences to our community.
