I have an amazing highboy antique bed frame (6ft tall headboard with footboard and side rails/full size bed) and two dressers with mirrors that came from the Victorian house next to Pataha Flour Mill. Rumor has it this was part of the wedding dowry for the original owners of the mill.

Before and after on this antique restoration piece. It’s been stained in Antique Walnut by General Finishes and sealed with their flat out flat top coat. Thanks, Sandy, for the opportunity to bring this beauty back to its glory.

Mid Century Modern Makeover!
This 8-drawer dresser has found its home. Michelle_Jenkins
Fusion painted in black and restained legs in antique walnut gel stain complete this look.
The hardware has been completely restored to its original patina and gave the piece the glam factor it was begging for.
Yay for old becoming new again.

Antique restoration time!!! We are going from oaky orange to antique walnut. Spent hours just prepping the piece to accept the gel stain but so far so good. Stay tuned for the finale!
The hardware is out of this world beautiful!!!’

Happy (belated) 🎂 18th Birthday to my absolutely stunning niece. I’m sorry it took me so long to finish your rhubarb pink record storage cabinet. It’s going to look great in your new abode at college this fall. But don’t make me think about that yet. I might cry.
I used the color “Rhubarb” from Waverly’s chalk paint line. It seems to be just the right shade of corally pink. Warm, but feminine. Then I used a champagne pearlescent glaze from American Paint line. Lastly I sealed it with Jolie’s clear wax and refinished the hardware in rub n’buff Gold Leaf. Was it worth the wait?
