{CUSTOM}

I know, I know. It’s been ages since you guys have seen me post any projects! Life has brought a lot of changes and challenges in my life the last 6 months , not leaving me a lot of time for projects, but I’ve had some time here and there to give this old kitchen a makeover!

***IMPORTANT***

All custom pieces must be picked up by finished date or future date approved by Honey Doll Studio. If custom pieces are not picked up by such date, owner/client will be charged a $25 storage fee per week on top of total custom charges for custom work completed. Storage option is ONLY eligible IF balance for services is paid in full by the owner/client prior to making storage agreement. MAXIMUM length/time for storage is 4 weeks (28 days). If the owner/client dies not pick up by this deadline, the owner/client forfeits ownership of pieces and HDS has the right to list the pieces for sale to the public.

The Hoosier cabinet was an incredibly popular kitchen fixture from the 1890’s to the 1930’s. At the height of their popularity, there were more than 250,000 Hoosier cabinets manufactured a year. The Hoosier Manufacturing Co. of New Castle, Indiana, was one of the earliest and largest manufacturers of these cabinets, thus earning the piece of furniture the lovable nickname “Hoosier”.

Hoosiers peaked in popularity in the 1920s, and then declined as home builders started including built-in kitchen cabinets and counter tops. Sadly, the Hoosier Manufacturing Company was sold in 1942 and liquidated.

I'm posting this with a heavy heart...☹️
As much as I love my refurbishing addiction, it takes up too much of my time and I am struggling to keep up with the everyday basics such as cleaning and maintaining my home, so something’s gotta give. I will be re-homing most of my stuff... 😥
