Racquet Masters

Racquet Masters Racquet Masters is a full service racquet stringing and customization service for tennis, racquetball, and badminton.

We have over twenty years of experience in the racquet stringing industry and would love to use our expertise to up your game! Racquet Masters was founded by United States Racquet Stringing Association (USRSA) Master Racquet Technician Cole Tonge. The Master Racquet Technician designation acknowledges mastery all facets of racquet service including installation of string, selecting the optimum rac

quet for every player, how to re-size and re-grip handles, and how to customize weight and balance. Cole has been stringing for over 20 years and has worked in the Racquet Sports Industry since 2004. His experience and attention to detail are qualities that can only be found in the highest circles of racquet stringers. Cole has strung tens of thousands of racquets in his career and looks forward to sharing his insight to help you achieve your goals. Racquet Masters utilize the best standards and practices in racquet stringing adhering to guidelines imposed by the USRSA, and the Professional Stringing Teams on the ATP Tour. What this means is that you can expect the same level of service and attention to detail that a top tier professional tennis player would expect. Currently, all of our restrings adhere to the guidelines of the Yonex Stringing Team of which Cole is a member. Additionally, we utilize only "Constant Pull" stringing machines to string racquets that are regularly calibrated for accuracy. A constant pull stringing machine is the most expensive machine on the market, and the only kind of machine that professional players trust to give them an accurate string job. The machine is electronic and constantly pulls the string to the desired tension until the string is clamped and the tension head is released. This simply means that you will receive a more accurate string job that can be replicated every time. In addition to stringing, we also offer customization services where we can match multiple racquets to the same weight, swing weight, and balance, or tweak the specs of your current frame to optimize your game.

A bit late with this one but finished up my third Easter Bowl last weekend. 7 days of pretty much non stop racquets. 3 stringers and a dedicated front desk handled almost 800 sticks. I had one 50 racquet day that was pretty brutal but other than that, it was smooth sailing. 290 total for the tournament. I always learn something at every tournament I go to. This time I learned I hate Ashaway monogut. 🀣 Big thanks to Mike and Mike and Jason for a great week of hard work and good times! Really love this team and this tournament!
