BEFORE and AFTER images of this massive backyard pergola. It was in a poor state as we discovered wood rot, tons of sun damage, and several paint drips left behind by a previous painter. Restoring this goliath meant stripping it down to its hearty bones and sanding each slat, beam, and post as needed. When demo was complete we replaced all damaged units, primed and painted it bright white, and lathered it in a fine coat of exterior sealant. Only the best treatment for this beauty.

1-2-3 Easy Guide. Applying an oil-based polyurethane elevates a wood's natural beauty. First, sand the wood's surface and wipe it down of any debris. Second, apply the "topcoat" of your choice to protect your wood against damage from water and household cleaners. Third, display your work and enjoy the finished product! There are several ways to protect your wood's surface it's all a matter of personal preference. 😉
