Lots of work taking shape from weeks of planning and intentionality. I think the last 5% of any job is what really separates quality from the latter.

Like in fine dining. You can have a great meal; top ingredients and an amazing chef, but the food can be plated poorly or go out cold. Doesn’t matter if it was excellent up to the last bit if it wasn’t presented how it was intended.
I have felt this a lot as a builder and want my clients to feel the same smile I do when I eat a great meal from a local chef. I don’t often share my thoughts as I want my daily craft to be a focus, not screens. And I don’t always plate well. But get ready, there is another dish coming up!
I thought this might make someone smile, and a few of my tradesmen friends to reflect. Here’s to plating well and giving the best we can!
