Clinton and myself (Elisha) are a young couple from La Crosse, WI. We had been friends for many years before we realized that the time we had been spending together was just well better together. We started dating not to long after. Clint and I were always looking for new little things to do together and ways to spend quality time as a couple. We started making one night a week a “date night” after work and college classes were getting in the way of spending that quality time together. One of our first date nights Clint surprised me with materials to make our own blanket ladder! AH! I had been wanting one for a really long time and was beyond excited!! We finished our ladder and were getting comments from friends and family of how other people wanted them as well. In December 2018 Clint posted the ladder on Facebook Marketplace to see the response we would get. Let’s just say the response was way greater than we had ever expected! We quickly started getting messages and we just could not believe the amount of people that wanted to purchase our ladders. We now offer ladders for sale to anyone that wants to buy them, and we hope to get more projects out to the public for others to purchase! We want to encourage everyone to take the day off and put the phone and computer away and spend quality time with your loved ones. We would have never made this page and started Custom Furniture by Clint and Elisha without taking the time to spend with each other first.
