New project that has been in my head for quite some time. A single board American Vernacular style bench. Using air dried poplar and only hand tools to build. Also plan on using cut nails and hide glue for the assembly with some form of wax or traditional paint to finish it.

Once I know all the layout works I will have a set of measured drawings available and will also probably put this piece up for sale as well to help find building the best thing. If you are interested in either this piece or the drawings let me know.

What's on the workbench Wednesday update.

Finished assembling a small stand for our Sonos move. Still need to put a finish on it no just not sure what direction to go.

Also getting closer to finishing up a new patio table. The main stretcher is cut and started assembling the legs. Should be assembled tomorrow.

Finally working on a new handle for an old back saw that I'm turning into a budget dovetail/joinery saw.

The finished Walnut mantle. This was a fun design build and a great way to break-in the new shop.

Got the shop unpacked and set up in the new house. First project building a walnut fireplace mantle for us. Then a fun smaller project for our good friend Adam. After that it open. What do you want for Christmas the order books are open?

The covid desk build for cassie is all done. Just letting the oil finish on the top cure before setting it up. It was a fun build to get back into designing and building something.
