We need a Savior…Lord, make us One Nation Under God!
My heart is torn apart by the condition of our nation. This weekend, I had a heart-shattering experience. In a public restroom, I was holding my 4-year-old granddaughter's hand, waiting for a stall to open. When one did, a man walked out. I found myself face-to-face with him in the women's bathroom, holding my grandbaby's hand. What I say next may be perceived as hate, but those who know me understand that I love the Lord and have compassion for the lost. My message to this man is from a heart that loves. A message that must be shared.
Sir, entering the clearly marked women's restroom brought a grandmother to tears and made the space unsafe for my granddaughter and me. Your anger was clearly shown with the farcical expression you gave. I've prayed, seeking guidance on how to approach situations like this, and God's truth reminds me that He didn't send His Son to condemn, but to save. I stand on John 3:17. You taught me a valuable lesson that day, to always be ready to share that Jesus Christ loves you. For I myself, understand what it feels like to be so out of place in the world we live in today.
