Acklin Woodworks & Woodturning My passion is wood turning bowls, lamps and candle holders but I also produce many items more in the farmhouse appearance. I do not cut live trees.

All items I produce are from fallen trees I have personally harvested.

Persimmon lamp. 16” tall, wood portion only. Harp is 8” tall. Persimmon is an extremely hard wood primarily used to make wood drivers for golfing. Finish is natural with only walnut oil for finish which really brings out the characteristics of the wood.

Hollowed elm log / tray.
Used to decorate your table, entryway, kitchen island, etc.
20” long and 9” wide
It’s hard to see but on the sides I preserved the channels made by the weevils.
The interior is finished with walnut oil which is food safe.

Spalted pecan with turquoise blue epoxy work. This was quite time consuming but turned out nice.
