This is going to be a difficult day. Today is Towels of Key West employee, Ryan Mobley's last day. Ryan has been with us for five years. He was intuitive. He made our job easier. Most importantly we all laughed a lot. He made going to work fun.
As we prepare to close our doors after 30 years, we reflect with all those employees who helped make it possible. Susan Kent joined us at the time we were heading off to do the P-town store. She managed Key West all those summers. She was invaluable. DeVonna Howell was an intricate part of that team. Doreen Shea, Kathy Eddins, John Clifford, Rick Lover, Tara Tyler, all were very important to our business. Fran Albright was there from the beginning. She was our Key West mama. Kelly Graff was our manager in P town, and helped us in Key West. Bobby Saunders has the distinction of being with us the longest. He also worked in every project we have ever done over the years. Key West 806, Key West 512 1/2, Miami Bayside, Provincetown, Boston Newberry Street. We even sent him to New York to work the booth at the trade show in our wholesale division. We got to watch Bobby grow up from a young kid out of the military to a successful career man, dedicated husband and father.
One of the greatest compliments was when a customer thought one of our employees owned the store. That showed us their dedication and love for what we all did. There are many more who were important to our business. It is with tears in my eyes I thank all of you. We grew, experienced, cried, and laughed together. Love, Stan Wellman and Kent J Henry
