Vegeta Saiyan Armor V1

Here’s a more in-depth look at the details of my weathering/ battle demage effects on the armor. I’m very pleased with how it came out, I wanted a realistic cinematic look with more story telling elements… it was a very nerve racking experience, it felt like I was defacing a masterpiece but in the end I felt like it was a total victory, that I done the armor justice if I do say so my self.

Vegeta Saiyan Armor V1

Here’s a more in-depth look at the details of my weathering/ battle demage effects on the armor. I’m very pleased with how it came out, I wanted a realistic cinematic look with more story telling elements… it was a very nerve racking experience, it felt like I was defacing a masterpiece but in the end I felt like it was a total victory, that I done the armor justice if I do say so my self.

Step one was the primer and wet sanding… then I did some of my scaring and light battle damage. next I did a base coat of metallic silver, then I used toothpaste gel for masking the areas where I wanted the paint to be pilling and blistered… also around the battle damage… then I did my color coats fallowed by using gloves/tooth brush under water to remove the toothpaste. Then I went back over with my air brush and finally I cleared it with a gloss clear coat and BAM!!

Golden dragon 🏆🐲

My X-Force Wolverine V1 armor is %90 complete…

…I’m just waiting on a few more parts I need to finish assembling it, straps/clips and the LEDs for the visor and belt… and Done!

the helmet is my own concept based off a generic sci-fi helmet, the 3D prints were flawless, I just painted and weathered the pieces and added some light battle damage… special thanks to the seller CosplayCassanova on Etsy, with out him this wouldn’t have been possible, he literally designed the concept and printed it all as a custom commission, I highly recommend him for your next cosplay build. 🙏
