This custom, Farmhouse-style dining table was creating using aged and distressed pine, walnut, and 75+ year old barn wood from a farm in the small town of Dover, Missouri. A thick layer of epoxy resin was used to seal the whole thing together. Now it has traveled all the way to its new home in Omaha, Nebraska.

Don't forget, the holidays are right around the corner, so if you happen to be scrambling for some great gifts look no further. These cutting boards and butcher blocks are perfect for that special holiday gift. Custom orders placed before December 14th can be delivered before December 25th.

(The reason butcher blocks look different from cutting boards is because a butcher block uses the end edge of the wood, rather than the face grain. By turning the wood on its ends, the knife is cutting into the much more forgiving and self healing open pores. This allows for the knife to keep a sharp edge for much longer than a standard cutting board.)

The process of completing the 30+ tables for Blind Box BBQ was a long one, but well worth it in the end. The pine tables are complemented with a walnut strip cut from the same walnut trees as the back bar and other shelving in the restaruant. The tables were carefully charred to give them the perfect look for this BBQ restaurant.

These Cypress hot tub end tables are perfect to set your towels or drinks on while tubbin'. The legs have a 1" wide strip of oak down the middle to give them extra weight and stability: sandwiched by the two outer book-matched pieces of cypress (the grain pattern is a mirror image on both sides of the leg.) Cypress naturally grows in the water and cannot be harmed by bugs, sunlight or rain so it is the ideal wood for outdoor furniture that will last for generations.
