Jax Woodworkers Club

Jax Woodworkers Club Our service project is to make indestructible wooden toys for needy children in the Jacksonville, Florida area. All people are welcome: beginners to expert.

The cornerstones of JAX Woodworkers Club are friendship and fellowship for all woodworkers of the Jacksonville, Florida area. All it takes is an interest in making sawdust. We meet monthly to share woodworking ideas and projects, to encourage and support each other at all skill levels, and to work together in our annual community outreach: The Christmas Toy Project. Throughout the year, we build

toys that are donated during the November meeting to different charities, hospitals and their related organizations. Our annual goal is to build and donate more toys than we made the previous year to these deserving children.

RULON (http://rulonco.com/) provides wood for our members so we can make toys for children - we really appreciate what they do for JWC. The truck was full before I had a chance to get this picture. All members know to look for the red pickup and get their wood early. Thank you RULON!

Bobby Clayton likes Jax Woodworkers because it gives him an opportunity to be of service to the Lord and see children light up when he gives them wood toys.
