Progress is being made on the new bench. Long way to go still,but the major hurdles of the 2 slabs for the top are almost over. Meantime I will get the base cleaned up and assembled. That itself is not as close as it looks.

Working on the "Hybrid Workbench" from guld project. Roughing out the mortises on the legs, and I saw a flash in the dust collector on my router, and then I saw a flame... shut it down, dumped the bag in my fire pit after using a spray bottle to ensure the fire was out in the mortise. Oh, and yes I went past the line. Oops X 2...

Traded cold weather and sawdust for an amazing trip to St Maarten with my wife, and I took it a step further and became open water diving certified through Pool day followed by 4 open water dives and skills training. Amazing group of dive masters. Andre was my instructor and I coukd not have been happier with the experience.
Now for quality time with my amazing wife as we enjoy our next several days here.
