Today marks the 23rd anniversary of September 11, and as we remember the lives lost and the bravery of those who served on 9/11, TD Bank and I were honored to join Team Red, White & Blue as the presenting sponsor of the 9/11 Stair Climb. As one team we climbed 2,200 stairs, the same number of stairs first responders climbed on their way up the 110-story World Trade Center on September 11. Each step taken is in memory of the courage and sacrifice shown on that day, and we're proud to support the veterans, first responders, and service members who continue to serve our country. 💚 , , ,

Update:

For those who view the site for updates, we wanted to keep you up to date. Nick has not fund raised since his senior year of high school. He would love to continue and does see that it will be something he does again but currently for those who may not know, Nick is in his Junior year at the Naval Academy. His year is packed, not giving him the time needed to do the events. We thank you for your support throughout the years and hope to see you all soon.

The Barry family would like to update you on the recent 3 on 3 basketball fundraiser we had last week. We had a tremendous turnout and a lot of support from the local businesses and we would like to thank them for their continued support throughout the years. We would also like to thank Sue Schnabel for allowing us to have the event at the Islip basketball courts as well as all the teachers who showed up to assist with referring. (Mr Lynch, Mrs Whitehouse, Mr Scheidel, Mr Juengerkes, Mr Delapi and Mr Coyne) In all the final amount raised was $1,645. This puts us over the $10,000 amount in total that Nicholas has raised over the years. We are happy to be able to help in supporting the Grilli family with this great scholarship and thankful that they allow us to be a part of it.

We wanted to thank you for a very successful fundraiser with the 3 on 3 basketball tournament. Thank you to the sponsors, the players and the parents. We raised $1963 for The Anthony Grilli Memorial Scholarship Fund

Tuesday, August 4th, Barry's Charities 3 on 3 basketball tournament, 7th/8th starts at 830, 10th/11th @ 12 and 9th/10th at 330.

Come down play some ball and support a good cause. All monies raised will go to "The Anthony Grilli Memorial Scholarship Fund"
