We had a legendary bowl long before Rachael Ray popularized it. That potato chip bowl we dubbed “The Garbage Bowl” because Dad rescued it from trash somewhere. We loved that quirky bowl. Sounds sketchy, but trust me, it was gold lol. When we heard “garbage bowl” on Rachael Ray’s show, we lost it laughing. I think this picture is from 1982 and I can vividly remember everything about it. I accidentally dipped my spoon in the mashed potatoes and thought I was going to get yelled at. And my sister was hogging grandma’s lap, it was her birthday and there wasn’t room for both of us.

I was able to get some Annie Sloan wall paint this weekend. This is the color I picked, Schinkel Green, and what it would look like on a wall. The graphic designer in me loves this green color so much - it reminds me of the Wizard of Oz and the Emerald City, my favorite movie. 🌿 Don't be afraid of color, be afraid of boring! 💚🩷💙

Husband complains there’s too much furniture in the house yet finds this and gets it home his own 😹

It’s a Berkey and Gay Hepplewhite Chest on Chest and it is SOLID. Like, I don’t think I can paint it. We’re talking Grand Rapids Furniture, some of the best that was made in America. *sigh*
