Lewis Brook Cabinet Shop

Lewis Brook Cabinet Shop Since the 1970's Rich Corbeille has worked with wood. The photos are of recent furniture that he built. If you have questions, please contact us.

Rich was an Aerospace Engineer for 44 years when he retired. He is self-taught as a woodworker. Upon retirement, he was able to devote more time to this hobby. And since 2007, he has a dedicated workshop that houses his woodworking equipment, numerous hand tools and storage for wood purchases.

We are happy to report, though, that this piece was recently purchased by a fellow Huntsville couple as a gift for a family member.

Please note our new cover photo. It won the best August furniture entry in the Horton Brasses Inc 2019 monthly contest
This qualifies him for their yearly contest for the 2019 winner.

I am trying to email a copy of Horton's email that explains how the contest works to those of you in my iPhone Contact list.

To vote you have to go to Horton's page which is facebook/Horton Brasses. There will be 2 pictures of a furniture piece with the woodworker's name. You comment on 1 or 2, whichever has Rich's name.

But Rich is on a by-week for this first week which runs from Mon-Fri, Jan 11-13. So I will alert you with another post or email when you can vote for him.

Please send me a post or an email If you have questions or need more information.

Thank you for considering our request.

Rich has been busy making wedding presents for family and friends. They include end tables and lamp tables. Also specialized decorative boxes and decorative wooden boards. A recent popular item has been a wooden tray a center decal of the married name initial.

He also still has some items at Big Glass at Lowe Mill.

Rich may have some time before the holidays to make some small gift items. He is finishing up a cubed-shaped coin bank for our granddaughter. It has a mirror installed in it to create an optical illusion so you cannot see the coins deposited. If that's not for you, perhaps he can help you think of other ideas - knife boxes, cutting boards, trays or ...........

Thanks to all our Friends who Liked Rich's entry in the Horton Brasses, Inc August contest. An ornate cellaret won. Rich plans to participate again in the New Year. Right now he is working on small chests and cutting boards to display at Julie Gill's Big Glass Art Studio at Lowe Mill for holiday shopping. In fact this jewelry chest is there already. Her Studio is 201 and is located in the walkway between the 2 buildings.

Julie is a talented and experienced stain glass artist. You can see her distinctive and varied framed stained glass in her studio, various sun catchers and even some checkerboards with SEC teams featured. There is also an assortment of lamps and jewelry.
