Hi! I was excited to get this project started and finished, but then life happened, and it’s now on pause.
Cushions and upholstery are not cheap!
So I’ll be painting some dressers to get funds put back into this, stayed tuned!

Update: drawer fully glued, nailed & fitted.
It’s almost done, ha, I said that last time.
Mind you, I work a full time job and have only worked on this for 3 Saturdays (not all in a row)
I wanted to have it done prior to Thanksgiving, but alas, it won’t be done in time.

Next steps: add the drawers slides. Add the drawer face.
Sand/ prime & paint. Upholster back and seating, THEN I’ll be done.

In my head, it’s not that much, but on paper, it’s kind lengthy.

Trust me and trust me the process. I don’t think I e let yall done yet. Just make you wait a little long than expected 😄

Vintage Broyhill solid wood Buffet, dated from 1956-1979. It is mahogany wood.
This piece has been updated with new hinges, new magnetic latches and a new backing. Very small cosmetic issues, due to age.
With that, it was throughly cleaned, stripped then painted with Wise Owl paint in color, “1987”
This color is like pink, but peach, but can be paired with many color palettes. The top drawers are lined, the rest are bare. (The lining can be removed if you prefer all bare drawers).
The top was stripped to bare wood then washed with a sand color paint to keep it neutral.

This piece measures: 50”L x 20.5”x 35”tall.
