I’m working on a big job for the next few weeks. I started with the table and 6 chairs. When I went to sand down the table top it would not budge, the top had a plastic laminate overlay. I’ve sanded down many tables in my 11 years doing furniture and never ran across this problem. I had to think, then I had to call my client and talk about plan B. We decided on the white wash finish like I recently did on the Bombay chest but I needed it to look more like stain so I could do my white wash on top. Here’s a sneak peak of the table top. Looks pretty close to me as if I would have sanded the top, stained and did my white wash. Not too shabby

The sweetest couple came from Ponchatoula on Friday and bought the Bombay chest. Here’s a picture they sent me. Love love love it sooo much😍

Cute lil desk and chair I did for a client. I used some “Furniture Salve” from Wise Owl to brighten up both pieces. Using the salve definitely helped bring some beauty back to the desk & chair. I also recovered the chair with new fabric now it’s ready to go home!
