Not a "typical" Chinese antique armoire by any stretch of the imagination..but my husband was drawn to this piece on one of his buying trips and so it made it's way into my collection.
Two open cupboard spaces...rod in the larger one and 5 functioning drawers. Located in NYC

Love this piece so much...the primitive gesso artwork and the practical side of having so much storage space as well as some decent space to display personal treasures.
Love it so much so that I have the mate in my house. So, yes, one available. In High Point.

....more on coffee tables. Red lacquer with carved detailing on the sides, which house substantial drawers. Nice patina. Ship out of NYC, or pick up yourself.

Simple, sturdy and classic. This elmwood bookcase. Made in China of reclaimed elmwood. Have a pair of these in stock in High Point NC, BUT if you want in a different color, can get for you as well. (Looks smashing in black laquer!)

Paying homage to a very loyal customer and friend in the folks at Mill House Inn, who have been buying Antiques by Zaar antiques for 15 plus years.
Also, highlighting this beautiful altar.....have a handful of similar left, which I'm looking to be selling this week, at the High Point Furniture Market.... after 15 years,Swan Song Market for Antiques by Zaar!

Hard to believe that the folks and I go back 15 plus years . These early adapters were regular customers/shopping Chinese antiques for their place of biz and their personal residences .
Customers come friends very keenly aware of how adding add a sense of warmth that can’t be matched .

Antiques by Zaar has been showing in High Point Market since 2004....and Spring 2019 will be last Market for me to be showing/selling Chinese Antiques. Bitter sweet. Come by. Say hello. And grab a great deal while it has to be had.
