Early stages of custom doors. We laminate 2 pieces of solid wood together in the vacuum press to create an ultra strong, stable door stile. The marine epoxy provides a solid bond. The wood is walnut, which is one of my favorite door materials to use. The combination of the rich colors and ribbons of grain always pops when complete.

Custom kitchen projects require a lot of trust and understanding between the cabinetmaker and client.
