One of the most challenging, in depth, and rewarding projects I’ve done. There’s a lot of work in making cabinets but I’m proud of my work and the finished product. This was a completely custom built bathroom vanity/cabinet in all aspects. I can’t wait to see it with the top. PS In the 7th picture is my little shop buddy😸

I’ve had a lot of scrap wood from my current big build so I put some of it to good use, making some picture frames. After sanding and putting a finish on the frames I will get some glass cut to fit the frames. The live edge frame will fit a 11x14 photo and the other large frame will fit a 16x20 photo.

I bought this antique walnut hutch at an auction and at the time it was in rough shape. It was very unstable, broken in places, and quite dirty. After making a new and sturdy base for the legs to connect to, fixing the broken pieces, and putting a fresh topcoat on the hutch, this is the final result. It turned out wonderful and I absolutely love everything about it. For anyone wondering I (alongside the opinion of an expert in antiques) would date this piece to the late 18th century or very early 19th century. You can really tell the age by the techniques used, alongside the hand carved and cut pieces on the hutch. Tons of character in this piece!!

I love making pieces that people can cherish. The enjoyment others get from my work is what makes it all worth it.

Two more displays to match the previous displays in my last post. The bookcase style display is 5&1/2 feet tall and 2 feet wide. The other display is 3&1/2 feet wide and has a “tray-like” top for displaying items. It reminded me somewhat of a dry sink after I finished designing it but I’m very happy with how it turned out! The biggest project I’ve done so far and one of the most rewarding. This farmhouse table measures 3.5 feet wide and 8 feet long with a matching bench to go with it. The dark top with the distressed white frame and legs make a perfect match!
